What Is Required?

Because we want your pet to be safe

REQUIRED for dogs:   (from 8 to 16 weeks)
DHPP #1   [Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus]
(is usually given at 6 to 8 weeks)
DHPP #2   [Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus]
(is usually given at 10 - 12 weeks)
DHPP #3   [Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus]
(is usually given at 14 - 16 weeks)
Bordatella [Kennel Cough]   (administered through nose is most effective)
Leptospirosis (Leptospirosis is a bacterial infection.
Leptospirosis can affect canines and humans and can result in death in some cases)
Canine Influenza [Dog Flu]
Those that are OVER 16 weeks of age must include:
DHPP,   Bordatella,   Leptospirosis, and Canine Influenza
"Rabies is required of all dogs which have permanent canine teeth, or which are more than 6 months of age shall have rabies shots and must be kept up to date."
(ORS 433.365 & LCC 560.330)
For initial Rabies multi-year is NOT recommended.

REQUIRED for cats:   (from 9 to 12 weeks)
FVRCP & FELV #1   [before 12 weeks]
RABIES, FVRCP & FELV #2   [at about 12 weeks]
Those that are OVER 16 weeks require:
Initial RABIES vaccination
Thereafter, annual booster for RABIES, FVRCP & FELV
