Cost of this 8 week AKC CGC - Urban Program® Training is $150.00 and includes testing fees.

Cost of taking just the AKC CGC - Urban Program® Test is $10.00

The AKC C.G.C. - Urban Program® is designed to reward dogs who have good manners,
[both] at home and in the community. The AKC CGC - Urban Program® teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10-step test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds.
The AKC CGC - Urban Program® also includes the AKC CGCSM Responsible Dog Owner Pledge.

Some homeowner's insurance companies are encouraging CGC testing.
Additionally,an increasing number of apartments and condos require that resident dogs pass the CGC test.

State legislatures began recognizing the AKC CGC Program® as a means of advocating responsible dog ownership and 34 states now have Canine Good Citizen resolutions.
Clients are expected to apply the techniques that they have learned on a daily basis.
* There is a limit of 8 training sessions, though we may choose to go beyond that.
